SMS Privacy Notice

This Notice describes how GRABO LLC (“GRABO,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information you provide when you opt in to our SMS warranty notification program at https://grabo.cc/sms-opt-in. This Notice supplements the general privacy policy at grabo.com.
1. What we collect
When you submit the SMS opt‑in form, we collect:
- Your full name (to correlate your number to your existing warranty case);
- Your US/Canada mobile phone number;
- Your warranty case number;
- Your email address (for backup correspondence and case correlation);
- The timestamp and consent status of your opt‑in submission.
2. How we use it
We use the information solely to deliver transactional SMS notifications about your existing warranty case — for example: case received, replacement unit shipped (including tracking number), case resolved. Messages originate from sender phone number +1 (877) 960‑0534.
We do not use the information for marketing, promotional messaging, profiling, advertising, or any non‑transactional purpose.
3. Sharing — we don’t sell or share
We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose your phone number, name, email, or consent records to any third party for marketing purposes. We share data only with:
- Our SMS carrier (Twilio Inc.) strictly to deliver the messages you have opted in to receive;
- Government or law enforcement when legally required;
- Our internal warranty‑case operations team.
SMS opt‑in consent records are not shared with any affiliates or third parties for marketing purposes under any circumstances. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
4. Message frequency, rates, opt‑out, help
- Frequency: Up to 10 messages per month, depending on the activity on your warranty case.
- Rates: Message and data rates may apply per your wireless carrier’s plan.
- Opt out: Reply STOP to any message from +1 (877) 960‑0534 to immediately stop receiving messages. You will receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed.
- Help: Reply HELP to any message, or email support@grabo.com.
5. Data retention
We retain phone number and consent records for the lifetime of the related warranty case plus 24 months for regulatory recordkeeping (TCPA, A2P 10DLC and Toll‑Free compliance). After that retention period, records are deleted from active systems.
6. Security
Phone numbers and consent records are stored in encrypted databases hosted on access‑controlled infrastructure. Access is restricted to the GRABO warranty operations team.
7. Your rights
You can request a copy of, or deletion of, the records we hold about your SMS subscription at any time by emailing privacy@grabo.com. Replying STOP via SMS will additionally end all further messaging immediately and automatically.
